With a view to creating a conduit between the skill sets and skills required in energy and allied sectors, India’s power sector leader, NTPC and premier B-School IIM Ahmedabad joined hands to vouch for specialized courses in Energy Management. With this unique collaboration industry-academia nexus, IIM Ahmedabad has brought its pedagogical expertise in management education to the institute, while NTPC addressed the imperative vision of the power and energy sector. The first batch of this trailblazing tandem is all set for the 2019-2020 academic session and invites corporate to participate in the Final Placement Process. Final placements happen during the last year of the programme. The average work experience has been good with our PGDM Energy Management batch, which is reflected by the diverse profiles that NSB students have opted for placements in the current year. The Institute has made sure that the various education programs remain relevant, and are able to meet the changing needs of business organizations and their functional managers. Since NSB is mentored by IIM Ahmedabad, the institute is following their footsteps and trying to adapt to their styles of work and culture. On these lines, NSB has decided to have a cohort-based system. This system is designed to provide a better student-recruiter fit. The process, allows recruiters to evaluate students over a longer duration while giving them more time to delve into their desired career option.
